Inland Empire Stem Cell Consortium Opening Event
On April 25th,
the Inland Empire Stem Cell Consortium had its first event, a poster session and lunch at the UCR campus. Consortium members include Loma
Linda University, California State University at San Bernardino and the University of California at Riverside. Approximately 24 laboratories
engaged in stem cell research belong to the Consortium, which was formed to enhance interaction between stem cell researchers in the Inland
Empire. The poster session will be held on an annual basis and will take place on the Loma Linda campus next year.
The Consortium is currently sponsoring a seminar series with three speakers from Loma Linda University and three speakers from UCR.
Seminars are held weekly on Wednesdays from noon until 1PM in the Genomics Auditorium at UCR. All are welcome to attend.

Dr. Huinan Liu
an Assistant Professor in UCR's Bioengineering Department is organizing an outreach program with local museums for the fall. Consortium
members will be participating in this program.
